Publication ethics

Welcome to our Ethics and Policies

At Researchtext Publishers, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior in all aspects of the publication process. Our ethics and policies are designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and professionalism in both the review and publication of research.

1. Publication Ethics

We adhere to the highest ethical standards in the publishing process, ensuring the accuracy, fairness, and integrity of the content published in our journals.

  • Originality and Plagiarism: All submitted manuscripts must be original work. We have a strict policy against plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Submissions will be checked for plagiarism using appropriate tools.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their judgment during the review or publication process.
  • Data Integrity: Authors must ensure the accuracy and transparency of data presented in their research. Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data is strictly prohibited.
  • Authorship: Only individuals who have significantly contributed to the research and manuscript preparation should be listed as authors. All authors should approve the final manuscript before submission.
  • Corrections and Retractions: If any errors or misconduct are found in published articles, we will take appropriate action, including issuing corrections or retractions when necessary.

2. Peer Review Process

  • Our peer review process is crucial to maintaining the quality and integrity of the content we publish.
  • Double-Blind Peer Review: We use a double-blind peer review process, where both the identities of the reviewers and the authors are kept confidential. This ensures unbiased and objective evaluation.
  • Reviewer Responsibility: Reviewers should evaluate the manuscript based on scientific merit, clarity, and relevance. They must refrain from making personal judgments about the authors and disclose any conflicts of interest.
  • Author Responsibility: Authors must respond to reviewer comments in a timely and respectful manner. If revisions are requested, authors should make necessary changes or provide justifications for not making changes.

3. Editorial Policies

  • We are committed to ensuring transparency, fairness, and consistency in the editorial process.
  • Editorial Independence: Our editorial board operates independently from external influences. Decisions on manuscripts are made solely based on their academic and scientific merit.
  • Editorial Decisions: Editors reserve the right to reject or accept a manuscript based on peer review feedback and overall quality, without any external interference.
  • Fairness and Confidentiality: Manuscripts will be evaluated based on their content alone, without regard to race, gender, religion, nationality, or institutional affiliation. All submissions will be handled confidentially.

4. Ethical Guidelines for Authors, Reviewers, and Editors

For Authors:

  • Ensure the manuscript is original and does not infringe on copyrights.
  • Disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest.
  • Acknowledge all contributors who played a significant role in the research and manuscript preparation.

For Reviewers:

  • Provide constructive, unbiased feedback.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript.

For Editors:

Informed Consent: Authors must ensure that informed consent was obtained from human participants in their studies and that their privacy and confidentiality were protected.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our authors, reviewers, and readers.
  • Confidentiality: Personal information provided by authors, reviewers, and readers will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of the journal.
