The Journal of Experimental Physics and Chemistry publishes research that encompasses experimental, theoretical, and computational studies focused on the physical chemistry of various entities, including molecules, ions, radicals, clusters, and aerosols. JEPC places a strong emphasis on applications related to atmospheric and environmental chemistry, aerosol dynamics, molecular geochemistry, combustion processes, astrochemistry, plasmas, cold molecules, catalysis, and energetic materials, among other fields. Additionally, the journal invites submissions that introduce novel tools or methodologies of broad relevance to the physical chemistry community.

With a wide-ranging scope, the journal encourages contributions that integrate experimental, theoretical, computational, and data science approaches. All submissions, particularly those involving computational aspects, should utilize contemporary methodologies.

The journal welcomes various types of contributions, including Research articles, original works, Editorials, Reviews, short communications, Letters to the editor, Commentaries, and book reviews, among others. If necessary, the authors must be prepared to provide the editorial board with the informed consent form and other ethical approval forms.

Author Submission Guidelines

We welcome authors to submit their unique ideas and research findings that correspond with the journal's goals and objectives. Acceptable formats include original research articles, review articles, case reports, and short communications. Manuscripts should be written in English, using Calibri font size 10, with single line spacing, and saved in a compatible MS-Word format (.doc/.docx). The document should be formatted in a single column with one-inch (2.5 cm) margins on all sides. Manuscripts must not exceed a total of 20 pages in length.

Publication process

After the manuscript is submitted, it will be directed to the subject editor. The editor will arrange for the article to undergo a double-blind peer review by two reviewers. The reviewers' comments will be sent to the corresponding author, who must return a revised manuscript within one week. This revised version will be reassessed by the reviewers, and the final decision will be made by the Subject Editor. Once accepted, the article will be sent to the corresponding author in a format ready for printing, allowing for proofreading to catch any remaining errors. After publication in the journal, no changes will be allowed, and authors will be accountable for any mistakes. Accepted articles will be published both online and in print, with a download link provided to the author via email. On average, the review process for submitted manuscripts is completed within 4-6 weeks, leading to a decision on acceptance or rejection, while online publication of accepted manuscripts typically occurs within 2-3 weeks.
